A few gaming webistes, including IGN and and GameSpot have confirmed a new title of the Uncharted video games series: Uncharted: Fight For Fortune!

The game was "Accidentally Revealed": the Australian Classifications Board seems to have unveiled a new game in the Uncharted series.

A very strange thing about this game is that sources claim it is developed by One Loop Games, unlike the previous titles in the series that were developed by Sony's in-house studios.

The was classed as a card/casino game (WTF?) and based on what I know by now, will be different from previous games, either by gameplay or somethin' else.

Since the Uncharted movie seems to be stuck in Limbo, I decided to write up a list of actors I think would be perfect for the role of Nathan Drake. These are in no particular order, as they are all good fits; at least they aren't Marky Mark.

Based on his work in the Hangover, Limitless, and The A-Team, I think Cooper would make a good Drake, sharing some of that roguish charm and dashing good looks that Drake has. The characters he portrays resemble Drake's own personality in many ways, and has a very diverse filmography; his roles range from comedic to dramatic, and he even has experience in action roles. The Wiki needs new admins! Klock101, who has been a huge contributor to the wiki, has retired from editing. This leaves me as the only admin here, but I can't be on all the time. Therefore, if anyone is interested in becoming an admin, comment on this blog post or my message page.

As admin you would be expected to delete bad articles, block spammers and help edit the wiki on a regular basis, among other things.

I've been thinking about this for some months, and now it's finally time to say goodbye. I dived into editing here headlong and eager, but I have since become disenchanted, and editing the wiki has for too long felt like hard work rather than a fun hobby.

My interest in Uncharted has dropped too, and I rarely get a chance to play the games anymore. This does not mean I like the series any less than I did before. They still rank among my favourite games, and I will certainly continue to play them for many years to come.

The title says it all. I personally think it can be unbalanced at moments, and some times, downright frustating. Quickboom, G-MAL and Revenge, do i need to say more? While i'll thought that some boosters in UC2 was unbalanced (like ironfist or whatever it was called) i they have added more unbalanced boosters in UC3. Using the booster (i can't remember the name of it) that reduces the "pain wobble" AKA recoil when aimed in with, for exempel, the G-MAL, can make it a long range, no recoil, burst firing sniper. Revenge, wich dosen't relly unbalance the game, have way to many time caused me to die when it's droped from a teammate that died nearby, wich can both be blamed on it being a stupid booster and other player being to slow to move away…

This is just a quick survey to find out what editing tool is used by editors here. There are two available, the visual editor and the source editor.

This is a simplified editor for users who are new to MediaWiki. It's easy to use, but takes a major toll on articles in the form of badly-formed links, random and unnecessary tags, and other things that should be avoided. It's a good tool, but it can be (and too often is) very sloppy.

Over on the Naughty Dog Forums at the Playstation Community, Naughty Dog agreed to do a Q&A with the fans. Among their answers, Naughty Dog confirmed some upcoming features:

First up was a question on the presence of a female custom villain/hero. While ND did confirm that one won't be appearing, they also revealed some plans for the customisation in the future:

"The custom character model rig that’s in-game for Uncharted 3 multiplayer is a rig that’s built around a male. Adding another custom model into the game would be a huge technical challenge for various resource related reasons. However, we will be adding some more custom parts for the principle female characters in an upcoming patch."

At the time of writing, there are 1,460 pages on this wiki. There are also 5,716 images. That's a surplus of over three thousand images. Over the coming months, several images will be deleted from this site, and a policy will be implemented to restrict what images are uploaded. This will happen in three phases:

• Phase 1:
  • Any unnecessary images will be deleted from the site. These include unused images, low quality screenshots that have since been replaced with better ones, duplicated images, or images that are no longer needed (ie. better images of the subject have been uploaded). Today my PS3 has finally gone kaput. Not quite completely kaput, but it might as well have. Here's the story:

When on the PS browser (computer is often taken), I often encounter freezes. These mean I have to soft reset to escape the browser. After doing so, I get a "the hard drive is corrupted and must be restored" message. I press ok, it does it, I'm back on. Fine. But once, I had got really fed up of the browser freezing and said no to the message. Well I think that might have been the beginning of the end. Every now and then a game has a turning point where you realize you're not just playing a great game, but a true classic. For me, it was beginning of Uncharted 2. Rather than start you out with a simple, hold-you-by-the-hand tutorial, the game begins with Drake waking up in a train that suddenly rolls off a cliff and hanging dangerously high above the Tibet Mountains. Just about every humanoid character/creature we have ever seen in the franchise: Rika Raja, other antagonist faction skins. UGA skins, Fourth Labyrinth skins.

I'd like to see more customization.

For faces, give us the large thug faces and give us Yemen/Colombian faces.

I'd also enjoy some hairstyles seen throughout the series. I'd like to have eye color options too.

Any missing map throughout series, (Dry Docks, London Streets, Beach Bar, ect.)

I know this is really random and that I should just say this in the Chat on the wikia but...

Does anybody dislike the fact that Naughty Dog kills off all it's villains? In my honest opinion I hate it.

You may truly hate some villains and never want to see them again, well here's my pros about it. This is all I can think.

• Talbot - I hated his guts and wanted him dead at the beginning of the game. But he is very well developed, unlike some characters. It made me hope for his return.

• Katherine Marlowe - I hated her guts also, but she just deserved to die. I disliked her character ever since the E3 Trailer and hated her in the child flashback. I feel like she doesn't need to make a return.

So it's a week since I got my sticky mitts on Uncharted 3 and I have to admit I'm on to my fifth play through (though I still haven't found all the treasures) I'm up to level 12 on the multiplayer (I know not that good!)

I realized Character Revamps haven't been very active. I thank you Ren and everybody else who contributed to Talbot and Rameses's page. We need to get back to work. I've been trying to find good, full body images for all characters, whether it's rendered or not.

In order for great pictures of the characters (Full body; head to toe) we need people taking screenshots in Machinima Mode. The background for the character should look like where you fought or encountered them in-game in the game. Example: If you get an Uncharted 3 Lazarevic image put his background as the rocks in Chateau map.

Just to clarify, I'm NOT accusing Uncharted of copying other games. I love Uncharted and the third one is one of the best games I've ever played. Anyways, I'm sure somebody else already picked up on this, but there seems to be quite a few references to other games that appear in Drake's Deception.

The most obvious one for me was the whole "Iram of the Pillars" City. I haven't played many Prince of Persia games, but this city looks like it was taken straight out of The Forgotten Sands. As well, there's the whole thing about the Djinn and King Solomon, which play a large part in the story of The Forgotten Sands.

The other day I had someone go out to the AMC theaters in LA, hosting the PLAY IT FIRST IN 3D Uncharted 3 event, with my winning premium pass. As he recovered an early access retail game spot, one for himself as well, he also clued me in on what he experienced there at the event, and he was very thankful he had the opportunity to go.
