The Dead Explorer is a multiplayer skin based on one of the dead bodies of Karl Schäfer's expedition crew in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

Skin DescriptionEdit

He wears an old, brown jacket with several holes in it and cargo pants, along with pale skin and eyes, and has a bullet hole in his head due to Schäfer shooting him along with the rest of his crew of Nazis on a mission to discover Shangri-La.

How to UnlockEdit

The Dead Explorer was first featured as a Multiplayer skin during Halloween of 2009 as a villain skin, and was later included in the Siege Expansion Pack. He appeared again for free in the Halloween 2010 double cash weekend.

TriviaEdit

• While his Single-Player skin has no voice-overs, his Multiplayer skin does. He shares his jumping voice with each of Lazarevic's Soldiers and has a special voice that none of the other soldiers (or skins) have. However, if you listen closely this voice can be heard when killing some of Lazarevic's Soldiers.
• If you look carefully, numerous Dead Explorers can be found dotted around the Ice Cave Multiplayer Map.
