Both maps lack environmental hazards, such as the helicopter in The Plaza or the tank in The Village.

Map Selection

The Facility

The Facility is based during the chapters where Nate explores the old German facility and is attacked by the Descendants. One of this map's main features are the moving cargo boxes, being carried by cranes. These cargo boxes run in a circular cycle around the middle platform. If you do not time your jumps correctly, they can block you mid jump, and you will likely fall to ground level. On the other hand they can block your/enemy bullets when they get in the way. You can not jump on or hang off these cargo boxes.

The Flooded Ruins

The Flooded Ruins is based on the chapters where Drake is exploring the drowned city. There is a continuous lighting storm, complete with heavy rain, while playing this map. It's a sort of circle with an area in the middle which resembles Chapter 11 - Trapped. There's a sniping point near the circle which, while being immensely useful, is open and constantly fought for. There also happens to be a Desert-5 there, and there's a Dragon Sniper below it. The map does not have a shotgun or an RPG-7, but it does have a M32-Hammer underneath the Dragon Sniper.
