Drake's Journal is a behind-the-scenes book that chronicles the making of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. It was written by Nolan North, Nathan Drake's voice and mo-cap actor. The book is available through North's website GameSpheres, and Amazon.

Overview[]

North revealed at San Diego Comic-Con 2011 that he was working on a behind the scenes book detailing his experiences making Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. He compared its layout and style to that of "a high-school yearbook," and has said that it will focus on the stories of the Uncharted development team and actors rather than their technical roles behind the game. He also announced a release date of November 1st 2011.[1] The book was made available to pre-order from the 1st of October of that same year.

Excerpts[]

Foreword[]

"This book will show you how the chocolate, I mean, video game is made. It will explore the world of how ridiculously talented game designers, programmers, and artists at one of today's hottest developers, Naughty Dog. It has been an honor and a privilege to work with these people and even more fascinating to go in-depth and hear their stories and truly understand how much work and dedication goes into what they do. This book is for them. It's time to give credit where credit is due.

Thanks to all my dogs!

Enjoy!
