Naughty Dog have developed several patches (alternatively referred to as title updates) to support Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Updates have fixed a variety of multiplayer game issues such as map glitches, player respawn locations, "rebalanced" various game attributes (hitbox and weapon damage etc.), and added features.

Overview[]

Title Updates must go through a quality assurance process with Sony, who publish the updates. Players are notified when an update is available for download when they launch the game from the XMB. The update will then be installed to the HDD. Updates are required to play multiplayer.

Title updates are different from "LiveData Updates" which only make minor changes to the multiplayer.
