The M4 is a fully automatic assault rifle featured in Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Uncharted: Golden Abyss and Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.
Overview
The M4 is normally the first 'elite' weapon you get in your single-player campaign and is a 'upgrade' over normal weapons.
Uncharted: Drake Fortune (2007)
The firearm trades power for a heightened rate of fire and accuracy than the AK-47, both in-game and in real life. Not only does it remain accurate with prolonged fire, making it a great choice for long range combat, but it also slows down hit targets more so than the AK-47.
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (2009)
Multiplayer
Nate and all of the other multiplayer characters reload it like an AK-47 by pulling back an invisible charging handle on the dust cover.
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End (2016)
Multiplayer
The M4 only appear in Uncharted 4's multiplayer. It was released alongside the Survival gamemode update.The weapon can be dropped through a DLC weapon chests or purchased for 400 uncharted points.
The M4 has medium recoil accuracy range fire-rate and low damage. Best used at medium range.
Trivia
- The M4 did not appear in Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. It was replaced by the M9 .
Design
The M4 is based on the carbine version of the M4 and the M16A1 Assault Rifle.
