"All men dream - but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity. But the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible. This I did."
— T.E. Lawrence

Biography

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception (2011)

In Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, on the day of his motorcycle accident (May 13, 1935), a package containing his findings on Ubar was mailed from Dorset, England. The Hermetic sect Katherine Marlowe headed was believed to have been the cause of the accident, as witnesses saw a black car run him off the highway.

The package came into the hands of the sect, and was filled with Lawrence's accounts of the Crusaders. A thousand years ago, the Crusaders were also on a quest to find Ubar. Lawrence was able to map two Crusader sites with Sabean script that would help lead to Ubar: a château in a forest in eastern France, and a castle in Syria.
