June 2012 Page Redesign
Over the last week or so I've been editing this page (offline) to completely restructure it, and improve the overall quality of the article in terms of grammar, content, sources, etc. It's taken a lot longer than I thought, and some aspects of the page will be different when the new version is up. I've taken into account every edit that has been made to the page since I started the new version, and they have been factored into it as well. I'm still not 100% finished at the moment, so this message is just to let anybody who is planning on rewriting any major sections of the article know that they don't have to. I'll be publishing the new version of the page sometime tomorrow night. If anybody makes any edits between now and then, I'll do my best to factor them in. --Klock101 19:12, June 6, 2012 (UTC)
How come Nate complains even though he goes on with the story (DO NOT TELL ME BECAUSE THE GAME NEEDS ENDINGS, he complains during the descendants, the train, etc)

This page needs major work
This is surely one of the most visited pages on the wiki, but it's just awfully formatted. I know a that wiki page is made up of lots of people editing, but this one in particular looks like all the info has just been thrown at it to see where it will stick.
I mean, look at the biography section headings. They make no sense whatsoever. For example:
1.6 2003-2004 (The Fourth Labyrinth)
1.7 2004-2005 (Before The Fourth Labyrinth)
Section headings like "Uncharted: The Golden Abyss (unspecified time before Drake's Fortune, likely around 2005-06)" are not good. What was so wrong with just calling the section "Uncharted: Golden Abyss"?
I rewrote this page completely about two years ago (to much criticism if I remember correctly), and I suggest that it be rewritten again, and at the same time we should come up with a concise guideline of what character pages should contain, and how they should be laid out. --Klock101 (talk) 05:50, March 17, 2014 (UTC)
The UC4 sections in Nate's page needs to be rewritten. The grammar is horrendous. For example: "Nate then blows up a hole in the ships hold". The bolded part is missing an apostrophe on "ships." It needs to be fixed, pronto. I also recall a title on the UC4 section that read, "A thief's end." Shouldn't each word be capitalized? Hopefully someone more experienced with grammar can rewrite the biography more professionally so to avoid any further mistakes. JoeKelso79 (talk) 02:39, July 29, 2016 (UTC)
Stop changing Nate's age to 40-41
Nate's Physical Triats Please Update
It still shows Nate's height at 1.80 meters when it is confirmed to be 1.87 meters. Can somebody please change it to 1.87 meters? Also on the trivia it says Nate's eyes were changed from brown to blue, his eyes were never brown. In U1 and U2 they were green and in Uncharted 3 they were changed to blue. Proof can be found in the official character stills of Drake in U1/U2.
- Unfortunately some ppl don't read the talk, references and the summary. I was the one who made the change in his height and I'm always explaining but there are always someone to revert my edition. About his eyes I guess this is perception. For me they were brown until U2. Mizunoryu (talk) 10:50, January 29, 2018 (UTC)
- Thank you for your response! It is nice to know someone is recieving my feedback. It is true that in Nate's eye look dark in the first two games until they made them highly detailed in U3 (I'm still blown away by how far they pushed the graphics on the ps3). I did notice they updated his eye color in the U2 remaster to blue but with closer inspection on the U1 Drake model they are still green like in the original Drake's Fortune. I could research some old BTS videos of Drake's Fortune with images of his green eye color if you would like? Rebanor (talk) 06:06, February 1, 2018 (UTC)
Golden Abyss and PlayStation All Star Battle Royale uses his U2 model, he has brown eyes in both games. Comics and Eye of Indra he has brown eyes too. I guess we have different perceptions, and the lighting can cause a different perspective. Maybe getting different images and using the eyedropper tool to select the color and see the diferences may help. Mizunoryu (talk) 21:16, February 8, 2018 (UTC)
- I am up for that and if I am wrong I will not argue or get upset. We can keep this a civil and mutually friendly debate! Rebanor (talk) 10:01, February 9, 2018 (UTC)
Don't worry, man. We are all Uncharted fans, we don't have to fight. I have some Ucnharted Collection screenshots. This is from UDF the eyedropper shows the color #47392c. And this is from U2 #2f281e I picked the brightest point of the photos. They are all shades of brown. Tho I must admit that art from UDF is green #73775e, but in game is brown. Mizunoryu (talk) 17:00, February 9, 2018 (UTC)
You're right about in game they look brown but the official stills look green. Maybe it is the lighting of the first two games that makes it hard for us to tell the eye color. Naughty Dog did beef up the lighting in Uncharted 3 and the Last of Us which got some great volumetric lighting and the character models in both those games were fantastic and way ahead of the crub. I am glad they stuck with a consistent color in the last two installments and you can see the Uncharted 4 model is a detailed version of the uncharted 3 model, they even had the two side by side in a developer panel. I prefer the fourth game's Nate the best because it has a higheer poly count and more defined features. What is your favorite model out of any of the games in the franchise, @Mizunoryu? Rebanor (talk) 09:22, February 21, 2018 (UTC)
This timeline is wrong. In UGA Sully is still getting grey hair, in the Comics is already grey, and Chloe talks to her client Gabriel Roman in the last issue page 17. So, UGA takes place before the comic, book and the other games Mizunoryu (talk) 00:10, February 11, 2018 (UTC)
