Unifying the Look of Individual Treasure Pages
I was looking at doing a run through Uncharted 3 and was checking out the treasures page. I noticed some pages have just a picture of the location, some have just an image of the treasure itself, and others have an Infobox for the treasure. Is there anyone currently working on creating a unified look to the treasure pages? If not, I was thinking of capturing some images to work on that. I did not want to step on someone's toes.
Along with that, does anyone feel that images showing the location should NOT be included? If you think it should be included, should the glimmer of the treasure be visible in the screenshot (I can see the treasure, but no glimmer in some images), should the image have an arrow that points to the location, or neither? Images like that found on Gold Scarab Brooch. I thought that the look of pages with the Infobox looked nice (example would be Akkadian Statue Head), but that adding a location image would also make it more complete. I would keep the treasure image in the infobox like the Akkadian Statue Head shows. Thoughts before I update any pages?TripCyclone (talk) 21:32, September 10, 2013 (UTC)
Infobox looks the best
I think articles would look best with the infobox as seen in the Akkadian Statue Head, with the location image below the description on the left. I see this as the best way to display all necessary information without it looking too cluttered.
As for the contents of the image itself, I would say the glimmer should be shown, without the arrow. This is because the arrow pointing to the treasure for the player (if that is indeed the one you refer to) can sometimes obscure the glimmer itself or even a recognisable feature of the environment... which could make it more difficult to find. Though I don't think it is too big an issue on that.
On top of this, categories are very inconsistent (or at least unfinished) on most treasure pages. Each treasure page should have the categories: Treasures, Uncharted 1/2/3, Uncharted 1/2/3 treasures. If you are up for it, doing that on the way through the articles would be ideal.
