Uncharted #5 is the fifth comic in the Uncharted comic miniseries, written by Joshua Williamson

Plot SummaryEdit

Forced to team up with their rivals, Nathan Drake and Chloe Frazer fight back against the Smoking Gods deep in the bowels of the Earth! But once they find the treasure they've been seeking, should they take it?

Plot SynopsisEdit

The comic starts off with the group surrounded by grey skinned creatures with white hair and long red sharp nails, known as the Smoking Gods. The creatures kill off the Doughtys' hired mercenaries and scratches Nate's back. Chloe saves Drake by shooting the beast off of him and MIchael saves Rose who was being attacked by a Smoking God. Chloe picks up one of the dead mercenaries rocket launchers and starts firing at the holes the Smoking Gods were crawling out of to cave in the tunnel behind them. At the end of the tunnel, the group finds Agartha.

As the Doughtys marvel at the sight of the city, Chloe takes a picture of a flying machine with her camera. Nate is suddenly shot in the shoulder by Micheal, but when Chloe is about to kill Micheal, Rose fights Chloe with Rose defeating her. Nate and Chloe are held at gunpoint by Michael as Rose walks up a set of stairs leading to a wall of diamonds (what Sir Richard Byrd called the Second Sun). But while Micheal is hurrying his sister up, Nate realizes that the diamonds shine like the sun because there is lava flow behind it. As soon as Micheal pulls his sister away once more, Rose shoots her brother, killing him in the process, and kicking his dead body down the stairs. When she pulls one of the diamonds out of the wall, Nate and Chloe begin to run as that diamond was the main thing holding the lava back, which starts to flow in the room fastly and burns Rose to death as Nate and Chloe escape.

The comic was released on March 28, 2012, at the cost of $2.99.
