Map Selection

DLC maps are available when the Drake's Fortune Multiplayer Pack or the Siege Expansion Pack is purchased and installed. The player can choose in their profile to set map selection on "Default" maps only or "DLC" maps enabled. If other members in the match do not have DLC maps, the map selection will use Default maps regardless of the player's map selection preference.

Since more players have only the default maps, matchmaking can be quicker when using the Default selection. The Naughty Dog Blog has an entry on this subject: The New Matchmaking, DLC, and You.
