This page is a list of medals that can be obtained in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. There are 147 medals in total, with 82 single-player medals, 49 multiplayer competitive medals, and 16 multiplayer cooperative medals. Obtaining some medals will also reward players with Trophies.

Most medals award the player money, which can be used to buy rewards, such as costume skins or weapons for use offline and online. If a player has earned any Uncharted: Drake's Fortune trophies, when at the Bonuses menu on the Main Screen, they can press and can obtain an extra $20,000, or, if they have a trophy for completing Drake's Fortune at least once, an extra $80,000, making for a total of $100,000.

Single-player Medals Edit

These medals are obtained by playing through the single-player mode, they can only be earned once per saved game.

Multiplayer Competitive Playlist Medals Edit

These medals are obtained during any of Competitive Playlist modes. The money earned from these medals will increase your level and can be used to purchase items from the Multiplayer Store. Most of these medals are repeatable on all Competitive play lists, with the exception of those medals awarded once for specific events or unique medals for playlists.

Tripled	$1,000	Defeat three opponents in rapid succession.
Connect Four	$1,500	Defeat four opponents in rapid succession.
Five Not Alive	$2,000	Defeat five opponents in rapid succession.
Wipe Out	$1,000	Defeat the entire opposing team on your own: all team members must be dead before before the first person you killed respawns.
Fire In The Hole	$500	Defeat three or more opponents with one explosion.
BBQ	$1,000	Defeat an enemy with a propane tank.
Assassin	$1,000	Defeat two (or three) opponents using stealth.
Ninja	$1,500	Defeat five opponents using stealth.
Pull Down	$500	Pull an enemy off a ledge.
Kick Off	$500	Kick an enemy off a ledge or head smash an enemy who is hanging on a waist high ledge.
Perfect	$1,000	Win a game without dying, awarded at the completion of the match.
Triple Threat	$3,000	Defeat three opponents with long guns, three opponents with pistols, and three opponents with explosives.
Spray and Pray	$500	Defeat five opponents with blindfire.
Half Blind	$10,000	Defeat five opponents with blindfire and the Veiled booster.
Get Off My Lawn	$20,000	Defeat five opponents with the Invalid booster.
Miserly	$12,500	Defeat five opponents with the Half Loaded booster.
Duck and Weave	$15,000	Defeat five opponents with the Glass Jaw booster.
Ego Maniac	$25,000	Defeat five opponents with the Come Get Some booster.
Head Hunter	$500	Defeat three opponents with headshots.
The Long Ranger	$1,500	Defeat three opponents from at least 70m away.
Shut 'Em Down	$1,000	End an opponent's killing streak. Defeated opponent must have had five or more kills in a row.
Fly on the Wall	$500	Defeat a player who is climbing or hanging.
First!	$500	Get the first kill of a game, awarded only once per match.
Finish Him!	$500	Get the last kill of a game, awarded only once per match.
Retaliation	$1,000	Kill the last player that killed you.
Defender	$1,000	Kill a player that is shooting one of your teammates.
Put 'Em Down	$500	Kill someone in the knockdown state with a pistol weapon.
Unlucky	$500	Die five times in a row without getting a kill.
Tricky	$500	Kill a player with a pistol weapon while hanging.

Unique Competitive Playlist Mode Medals Edit

The following medals are specific to Chain Reaction, King of the Hill or Plunder modes of the Competitive Playlists. These medals are available in addition to the Competitive Playlist Medals, above.

Captured	$4,000	Your team captured the Treasure in a Plunder match, awarded to all team mates.
Drop It	$1,000	Defeat an opponent while they carry the Treasure in a Plunder match.
No Cigar	$2,000	Defeat the Treasure carrier while they are about to score during a Plunder match.
Protectorate	$2,000	Defeat five enemies that were damaging the Treasure carrier during a Plunder match.
That Was Embarrassing	$10,000	Earn a shutout in a Plunder match (1-0, 2-0, 3-0, 4-0, 5-0), awarded on completion.
Tip Off	$1,000	Be the first player to grab the Treasure in a Plunder match, awarded only once.

Multiplayer Co-operative Playlist Medals Edit

These medals are obtained by playing Co-op Arena or Co-Op Objective. The money earned from these medals will increase your level and can be used to purchase items from the Multiplayer Store. With the exception of the three medals awarded at the completion of a Co-op game, these medals are repeatable.

12 Parsecs	$2,000	Beat a Co-op game in fifteen minutes or less, awarded at completion.
Masters of the Universe	$5,000	Beat any objective Co-op level on Crushing, awarded at completion.
Back to Back	$5,000	Beat any objective Co-op level on Crushing with only two players, awarded at completion.
